A beautiful, timber-frame pavilion is available for receptions of up to 120 people. Tents can be put up for larger parties. In case of inclement weather, the pavilion can be enclosed.
With more than 200 acres, the Vineyard offers several other beautiful ceremony locations. For instance, there is a classical gazebo. Another option is a wedding in the grape fields. The peak time for a field wedding is in September, right before harvest when the air is fragrant with ripening grapes.
Whatever your preferences and needs, Mary Sorrenti, owner of the vineyard, will help you plan and customize a package for your special day. She works with local caterers, ministers, photographers, and musicians to help you create the experience you are looking for.
And then there is the wine. Sorrenti's Cherry Valley Vineyards is one of the most award-winning wineries in Pennsylvania. Mary can guide you to the perfect wines to complement your meal and occasion.
For a wonderful and inexpensive bridal favor, consider a custom labeled bottle of wine. They can be printed with any message or photo. Each bottle is $3 and come in soft white, blush and medium red.
You can also incorporate activities into your vineyard wedding that can be found nowhere else in the Poconos. For instance: private tours of the winery; a barrel tasting with the winemaker, Nick Sorrenti; even a grape stomping!
The vineyard is located in Saylorsburg, which is conveniently accessible to the Lehigh Valley, Scranton and New York City. Lodging is available within five miles.
The pavilion also is available for corporate events, anniversaries, birthdays and other important occasions.
